Anti D gamma globulin is given for Rh-ve mother with Rh+ child
It is administered with in 72 hours of delivery .
50mcro gram or 100 micro gm IM injection
It is not administered if patients have less than 12 weeks of gestation
Oxytocin - is used for induction of labor 10 - 20 units in 500 NS 40 - 60 drops per minute
In case of increased bleeding in inevitable abortion methargin 0.2mg to be given
Early abortion - D&C with suction
Late abortion - general anesthesia, use ovum forceps to remove retained products
Tab misopristol 200mg vaginally every 4 hours for incomplete abortion
